Bacteria B2: What It's All About

After 5 years in development and the last 12 months keeping this bait back, we have at last caved in to peer pressure and decided to let it fly… The B2 was born of sheer determination to put out another all season fishmeal bait, one that we new could compete with our flagship bait the Crab & Oyster which has been going strong for the last 15 years and will always continue to do so…

As you can tell, we never rush our products to market which so many seem to do these days. How can you fully test and tweak a bait that has not gone through all the seasons of the year? We were happy enough with it after the first 2 seasons of development but decided to push this bait all the way to perfection so took the necessary time to do it… So what’s it all about ? Well after the great success of the B1 we wanted to create a totally different breakdown fishmeal bait that would meet hands down all the nutritional requirements of the carp and be even more digestible than ever before, also we wanted not only fast leakage but serious leakage from the off, that lasted the distance.

The B2 is a totally different animal and concept to the B1, although we took everything we had learned from putting the B1 together on board, which has helped massively with the production of the B2. We wont be giving too much away on the how’s and why’s of this bait and will be keeping our cards to our chest this time around, but let’s just say it’s been very interesting getting to grips with sediments and detritus and the B2s have consistently performed brilliantly over silty bottoms…

The B2 itself can be a bit of a messy bait to handle especially when wet or thawing and we tried every which way we could to get around this all through testing but the leakage we were seeking just wasn’t as quick or has potent without that spec. We feel it’s a small price to pay for that all season all temperature leakage which has just added to the attraction of the bait and it’s all year round catching ability…

Again there is no chemical flavours to the bait just our very unique breakdown aromas and a totally natural taste, albeit a bit on the catholic side alot more tolerable to the carp than us. So to summarise, you are not only getting an all year round fishmeal bait with massive pulling power and catching ability but you are also getting a bait that has been thoroughly put through it paces and has already accounted for stacks of carp from a great variety of waters up and down the country due to it’s long testing period – so fish it with confidence!
